Airous walked down the fence line in a slow pace. It was past dark but not past midnight. Though there weren't that many peacekeepers out and about at this time so it wasn't as if he where to get caught quickly. Airous let his finger tips slide gently down the barb wire of the fence. It was off at the moment. If it where to suddenly turn on her would get a mild shock. Though he had gotten on a few times so it wasn't anything he wasn't prepared to feel.

Airous looked out beyond the fence. Sure he knew how to leave and go into the woods but he wondered how easily it would be to just, keep going and never come back. Would he stumble on another district? Or maybe a whole new cultivation where he could find help to stop what was happening here in the districts? How long would it be until someone noticed he was gone? Or better yet, how long until peacekeepers where out trying to find him?

Airous took his hand off of the fence. He really didn't feel like being suddenly filled with an electric shock today. No today he just wanted to grow wings and fly away.

Selene had been bored out of her mind and had grown up with her aunt when her aunt had learned of the fact Selene had been beaten and was scared for life. Her twin sister had been killed in the games last year and her parent's blamed her for her sister's death and beat her to almost death.

After her aunt had found out she had taken Selene under her wing and taught her how to stand up for herself and to go hunting and how to hunt even though it was Illegal to hunt but as long as it brought food to the table. They were fairly poor but they weren't the poorest either they just had a hard time trying to survive but they always pulled through even with the hunting which made it easier for the both of them.

Selene was going to go hunting late that night since most of the animals she were after would be asleep and it would be an easy kill and she thought about fishing, which would be nice. Plus she wanted to look at her traps and nets to see if she caught anything and her fishing net which she had put in early yesterday morning to catch fish and get them later that night. She was wearing her favorite dark, black stained slacks she had made out of bear hide, and her favorite pair of leather boots that went to her knees also from the same bear hide and her vest over a black peasant top.

Her long shiny bluish black hair was held in a high pony with a leather strap she made which kept her hair out of her face which had rose vine tattooed down each side of her face and a blue crescent moon tattooed to the center of her forehead. Her facial tattoo framed her beautiful bright emerald green eyes which shone bright in the moon light. She had several tattoos and one was a fairly large tattoo that went from the base of her hair line all the way down her spine which rapped around her waist and the tattoo went up and around her shoulders and covered her chest with a celtic knots. It was a beautiful tattoo and her aunt had a good hand at doing these tattoos.

She wasn't paying attention and she bumped into someone and got out of her daze. The person she walked into was a boy at the fence line and she wondered why he was here of all places.

"I am sorry. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. My name is Selene, Selene Ipswitch." she said.

Airous hadn't been paying attention when something ran into him. He knew it was a person, but his mind screamed PEACEKEEPER! He quickly blinked and took several steps backwards for her realized it was a girl. She looked about the same age as him. She had been in a rush to run into him with such a force. And she looked like she was going somewhere. Airous looked back to the woods. Was she the one who always had traps set up. Sometimes in the winter when he had had nothing to eat for days he would take her game off of the traps and trade if. Cruel and rude. He knew that. Airous looked back at her. He wondered if she knew it was him who did it. Or did she just think that she couldn't catch anything with those sticks?

Airous stared at her as she introduced himself. He wanted to run. But he had a feeling she would follow. "A...Airous." he said to her quietly, one so peacekeepers couldn't hear and two because he never talked to anyone before, not even at school. He was the freak with the drunk dad.

She looked at him then looked around to see if any peace keepers were coming and then looked back at him wondering what he was thinking and wondering if he was ok since he seemed to be thinking. She couldn't tell him everything or anything and she wanted to invite him to go hunting but was a little suspicious of him at the moment. She looked down at his shoes and smiled slightly because she recognized them, well the bottom of them since she found tracks to some of her traps, knowing that someone took her own game. She knew that she would have enough to share this time if he needed the money or the food and she was more then willing to help him even though she was poor herself but how could she not help someone else in need too.

"Don't run, I mean you no harm and I don't plan on hurting anyone. It's nice to Finally officially meet you Airous." she said politely and smiled a little.

"Your from school. Your a grade lower or in the same class as i am at school. I recognize you now. I won't turn you in if you don't turn me in for going outside the boundaries and hunting. Do you want to join me? You can have half of what I catch so you can have food or some money." she offered.

Airous listened to the girl wondering what she was thinking of. "Nice to meet you to...." he said softly He watched her closely for any small movement that would tell him that she was going to bolt to the nearest peacekeeper.

When she said that they where in the same class he instantly knew who she was. She lived with her Aunt and they where some of the more healthy people around the seam. He knew most of her family hunted. When she offered to share her game he shock his head. It was nice of her to offer though. "I rarely eat meat." he explained before sliding into the whole of the fence. He glanced back to see if she was following him.

She watched the boy and wondering what he was thinking of and wondered if he was ok and if he was going to run off and tell someone that she was hunting illegally and that he would turn her in. She would have to deal with that when the time comes but she didn't want to get into to much trouble but since she was used to beatings and had several scars and stab wounds from her father and mother she wasn't scared at all. She wasn't scared of death but she would fight for her life if she had to and that would mean certain punishment by law anyway since she was a fighter.

She sighed slightly and she knew that she would help as much as possible for the boy's sake by helping him get the money he needed to survive even though she was poor herself with her aunt they would help. Yes they had food but it was enough to keep them healthy to survive but she was more then willing to help others such as Airous if she had to. She had helped some of the families around her house with food because she felt horrible for the small children who didn't get enough food to eat. She just wanted others to be healthy as well even if they didn't know about her own beatings of her own. Her father and mother never fed her or even allowed her to eat so she starved to almost death till she was taken by her aunt who did everything to help her become healthy though it took about two years to get her to her correct weight.

"Well I know some of the people in the black market who would kindly keep the game and give you some money for them and I am still willing to offer you half so that you can get some money to have for yourself though sometimes it's not much but at least it's better then nothing at all." she said to him kindly and smiled brightly at him crawling through the fence and stood there as she remembered her father catching her coming back from the market and beating her for being over there and she flinched slightly as she rubbed the long deep scar on her arm which took a long time to actually heal like this today.
